[ARCHIVED] Be prepared for 2019!

The Town has committed to sponsoring some training sessions that will fulfill the new requirement for a period of 18 months after the date of course completion. Other eligible training opportunities will be made available periodically on this webpage.

The first three planned sessions are on the topic of Net Zero Energy Ready building techniques, presented by Scott Mills. The program is a simplified path to a high performance home that it is based on building code, which builders are already comfortable with. Additionally, the program has extensive support with a solution center that provides answers with architectural drawings, how-to videos, and checklists. The dates and times of the training are:

  • September 26th, 9 am - 11 am;
  • October 25th, 9 am - 11 am; and
  • November 7th, 2 pm - 4 pm.

For additional information or to RSVP for a session please contact Staff Planner Sara Nadolny at 970-927-4701 or
