Basalt Small Business Mini-Grant 2020 COVID Relief Application and Instructions

Dear Basalt Business Owner;

The Town of Basalt has launched a COVID-19 Small Business Mini-grant program to help support the town’s businesses through the pandemic. The program, approved by Town Council, will distribute $50,000 of the CARES Act funding.

“Our Town’s small businesses have many different needs as they address the pandemic and economic recovery,” said Mayor Bill Kane. “We hope by offering mini-grants that our diverse local businesses will put Basalt’s CARES funding to good use addressing immediate needs for the upcoming season and finding ways to improve their long-term business resiliency.”

The competitive mini-grants are available to small businesses (defined as having less than 500 employees at all locations) with a physical location within the Town of Basalt. Applicants will have to show that they have suffered COVID-related impacts. The mini-grant applications can be submitted for amounts up to $2,500 and should be focused on preparing for the fall and winter seasons.

 In order to apply, Basalt small businesses must complete the attached application by Oct. 19 Basalt Small Business Mini-Grant 2020 COVID Relief Application and Instructions and meet the following guidelines:
