Town of Basalt – Citizen Volunteer sought for VALE Board

The Town of Basalt is seeking one citizen member for the VALE Board (Victim’s And Witnesses Assistance Law Enforcement Board).  The Board was created in 2001 to disburse funds collected from violations of municipal ordinances and violations of the Model Traffic Code

The Board meets on an “as needed” basis and consists of two citizens at large, two incumbent Trustees, and the Chief of Police. 

Please submit a brief letter of interest stating your reasons for wanting to serve on the board, and include your best contact information, no later than 5:00 PM Monday, November 18, 2019 to Town Clerk Pam Schilling,
